ABOUT JAMIE
Jamie Durie is a multi-award-winning designer, television presenter, and founder of Durie Design. With a background in landscape architecture and a deep commitment to environmental stewardship, Jamie has worked on residential and commercial projects across Australia, the United States, and Southeast Asia.
He is also a best-selling author and has hosted more than 50 design-focused TV shows that have aired globally. Jamie is known for his pioneering approach to bringing the outdoors in, blending sustainable materials with timeless aesthetics.

Belah House: A Sustainable Sanctuary
Belah House is the embodiment of Jamie Durie’s sustainable living ethos. Located on the outskirts of Sydney, this eco-friendly residence is a modern-day sanctuary designed to have minimal impact on the environment while offering maximum comfort and style.
Neolith surfaces were carefully selected for key areas of the home, including the kitchen, bathrooms, and outdoor entertaining spaces. Each surface contributes to the home’s refined aesthetic and long-lasting performance while supporting Jamie’s commitment to using low-impact materials.
The house features Neolith in a variety of colours and finishes including finished including; Calacatta, Colorado Dunes, Calacatta Luxe and Black Obsession – elegant and versatile choices that elevate the interior while delivering on Jamie’s environmental values.
We wanted to create a house that was connected to the land, just as the river carves its own path through the environment.
Every decision in this build was made with sustainability, rejuvenation, and longevity in mind. ![]()
