The televised renovation
of bathrooms
with a whole lot of charm
Neolith® has been used for the incredible bathrooms
featured in a new residential
project on La Maison France 5.
La Maison France 5 is a famous French TV show that explores the world of renovations and interior design. Journalist Stéphane Thébaut hosts these short 5-minute episodes showcasing practical ideas, useful tips and the latest interior design trends through real renovation projects taking place all over France.
One of the most recent episodes highlighted the renovations of a home in the 8th district of Paris which is being transformed into a modern and elegant home featuring Neolith® as the chosen material for the two bathrooms planned by Perene, Michel Duhaubois, lthe prestigious leading interior design brand in France.
In line with the environmentally friendly Neolith® philosophy, Perene created beautiful eco-designs. Neolith® provided a range of materials with an elegant look yet not forgetting the importance of sustainability.
Bright and elegant bathrooms
The show also demonstrated how specialist installers skillfully position the large Neolith® slabs so it looks the same as Italian marble although thinner and with greater resistance.
Going for a rather different look, the terrazo-inspired Retrostone model was used in the second bathroom for the countertops and walls near the sink and behind the toilet.
The neutral tones create an attractive visual contrast against the glacial blue tone used on the walls and vanities for a refreshing appearance.
Neolith® Pietra di Osso was chosen for the floors. Inspired by limestone, it offers a neutral base which perfectly combines with the rest of the elements in the same space. The shower enclosure is the main focus. It’s comprised of a complex maze of white, blue and green tiles creating an impressive mosaic effect much like the lovely delicate scales of a fish.
This wonderful comprehensive renovation completely transformed the monotonous interiors into an elegant home with a very characteristic style evoking Parisian sophistication.
All Neolith® products used for this project were supplied in collaboration with Spadaccini, the Neolith® distribution partner in Paris.
